Transport

Buses: 340, 388 and 840.

Trains: The Coast Line from Copenhagen Central Station to Elsinore Station or the HHG Line from Gilleleje to Grønnehave Station.

On foot from Elsinore station: Approx. 15 minutes.

Parking

The parking area lies on the corner of Nordhavnsvej and Kronborgvej - approximately a 5 minute walk from the castle. The parking fee is DKK 10 per hour. Parking for the disabled can be found to the left of the castle yard's entrance. Before driving into the castle area you need to consult the castle guard. The castle guard is situated near the big gate close to the entrance.

Wheelchairs and buggies

There is good access to the Castle Courtyard. It is not possible to move around indoors with wheelchairs and buggies.

Bags and other luggage

Bags and other luggage larger than 35 x 15 x 30 cm must be left in the cloakroom.

Bathing

Bathing is prohibited except in Grønnehave.
